Snowflake Dies

For my sample I used both die sets and created a faux embossed look.  Then I lightly sponged the centers of the snowflakes and around the panel to add more interest.  The sentiment is from our new Snowy Hello set.

Snowy Hello: November Release Hop

 For my first card, I found this fun DP that matched the image perfectly so I went with a super CAS design and just added a bit of sparkle with some rhinestones. :)

I followed a fun sketch I found for this one.  Again, pretty simple but the snowy hills and little extras add a nice amount of interest.

 For my first card share today, I thought I'd go with something bright and fun.  I colored this silly guy to look a bit like Garfield, added some bright papers and a versatile sentiment and boom, a fun birthday or any occasion celebration card. :)

For my second card share, I thought I'd go more dainty.  I colored these two like two of MY cats, Tank and Squeaker, because they are the ones who inspired these images :) and this is a very typical scene for these two!  This would make a great encouragement or thinking of you card for a friend who needs a little pick me up.

 My first card today is fairly CAS.  I paired this new set with our Music Background stamp which I thought went well with the image.

For my second card I used two of the scripture verses to create a background, basically because I couldn't find any DP to match! 

Both my images were colored with Copics.

Magic of Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to day 2 of our September feature Blog Hops!

Although it may not look like it, my design for this card is pretty simple.  I stamped the sentiment in second generation ink to create a background then stamped the tree image in first generation ink.  The star was stamped on top and then colored in to make it solid.  I sponged the edges of both the DP and the stamped background, mounted everything and added rhinestones, Stickles and seam binding ribbon. I hope you like it!

Seasonal Wreaths Blog Hop

This image can really be used for any occasion depending on how you color it. Colored in these deep reds it would be great for Valentine's Day, too!

 I kept my card quite simple to really highlight the wreath which was colored with Copics.  I added some white spots over my coloring with a Sharpie Poster Paint Pen, just to add some depth to the image. I then added some Stickles to the bow and added a rhinestone to the center.  The square was made from a Nestabilities Die from Spellbinders and embossed.  After popping the wreath up with foam tape in the center of the square I added a rhinestone to each corner.  The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Crimson Red.  I popped the square up with more foam tape and added some seam binding ribbon from Stampin' Up! to finish it off.

NEW Calms His Child & His Peace

Welcome to day 5 of our August feature Blog Hops!  Today we're featuring two great sets in a new series of large inspirational sentiments.

For my first sample I simply stamped the sentiment and sponged the edges to make it pop.  I matted it in white and back and coupled it with some coordinating DPs. Then I added some rhinestones to pretty it up a bit.

For my next card I created a background.  I stamped the feather image from Nature Silhouettes 2 multiple times in first and second generation and then sponged around the edges and spritzed with an ink wash spray (a few drops of reinker and some water). I stamped the sentiment over top and added some pearls and die cut feathers with twine to finish it off.

For my first sample I sponged a background sunset with Memento inks.  Then I stamped one of the images from the Long Stem Silhouettes set in second and third generation ink.  The sentiment was then stamped over top.  I added s butterfly from our New Beginnings stamp set and die set.  The doily die is from Cheery Lynn.

My second card is super simple.  I just stamped the sentiment on a piece of notebook DP, used a spiral notebook punch for the edge and mounted it on other DPs.  The buttons and twine were added for a bit of interest.
