Guess what?!

Tomorrow is release day at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! We have some fantastic new sets for you and I can't wait for you to see them :)!

So how about a little sneaky peeky ;)......

I made this card using one of our March release sets called Polka Dot Silhouettes. You are going to LOOOOOOVVVVVVEEE this set. Let me tell ya! It is FULL of possibilities :). I paired it up with one of the great sentiments from our Love Sentiments stamp set.

A totally simple design yet very effective :). I added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the 4th heart and then colored over it once it was dry with a Copic marker to really make the color pop. Then I added a couple rhinestone hearts to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by today. We had sunshine yesterday, but today it's rain....so I may just stay in my pjs all day ;).

Inky hugs,
Korin

Congrats!

I have a sweet CAS card for you today....made with a couple of the new circus digis we released at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps on Friday :).

Not too much to say about this one....I cut both of the images out and popped them up with foam tape, added a doodled frame and some ribbon and Stickles and that is pretty much it :). Cute, though, don't ya think? ;)

I hope this sweet little guy makes you smile. :)

Welcome Baby

Wow, is it already Saturday?? This week certainly got away from me but I was quite busy working on more Sweet 'n Sassy goodness :), so hopefully you will forgive my blogging absence.

Today's Sweet Stop Sketch is a super sweet one and I hope you will join me in playing along.

Here's my card using the adorable Sweet Dreams digi. I really love this precious image, don't you?

The DP is from Basic Grey's Marjolaine pad. I stamped the little stars with Versafine ink and then chalked them to pop them a bit. I used some really cool star "pearls" I found at Michaels a while back. They were white so I colored them yellow with my Copics.....LOVE that about Copics :).

I also did some machine stitching on my card...another "technique" I love, but don't always have time to use.

Before I leave you today, I do want to share what I have been working on this week.....

A brand new collection of Circus Digis :)!

Each image is available individually, or you can purchase the whole collection together for $10 (and save $4)! It is also available pre-colored for just $15.

I really love how this collection turned out and I cannot wait to make some cards with the images I colored :). Coming soon :)......

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a fabulous weekend!

Cocoa & Flowers

It's Tuesday which means another Crazy 4 Cocoa challenge. Today we want to see flowers :). We're all anticipating Spring and flowers certainly say Spring, don't you think?

I used our Write Soon Cocoa digi stamp. The papers are from Basic Grey, but I can't recall which pad at the moment.

I'm keeping this one short today, but I do hope you'll join the challenge :). We'd love to see your flowery Cocoa creations :).

Inky hugs,

Coloring Frenzy

I don't have any new cards to share with you today, but I do have a whole bunch of colored images.....I was supposed to to hang out with a friend yesterday but hubby got called out to work, so my plans were changed. We were going to spend the afternoon coloring so I figured since I had everything together I might as well just color at home.

And boy did I ;).....

I think my favorite is the Sarah Kay image.....I love how that one turned out with all the blue :).....I do like them all, though.

And now I have a ton of cards to make ;).

Thanks for visiting me today!

Inky hugs,
Korin

Think Spring!

Oh yeah, baby, that is what I am doin' ;)! It was 74 degrees here yesterday!

Bethany is ready for spring, too! You are going to be seeing a lot more of her in the weeks to come :). I have been having a blast drawing her and I hope you love her as much as I do :). This image is available as a digi, but you just might be seeing it available in a clear stamp set very soon ;).

Over at The Sweet Stop it's time for our monthly Sketch with a Spin and that means a sweet prize :). Our spin is to Think SPRING :). Easy one, right :)? So grab the sketch and your supplies and let's see what you got!

Simple Silhouette

Good morning stamping friends!

Before I share my card today I have to tell you, we had over 60 degree weather yesterday!!!!!! It was fabulous! I had a sweater on over a tank top and I actually had to take the sweater off at one point :). It was such a lovely glimpse of Spring! There is still snow on the ground, but it's more like slush now and it will probably be gone soon if the temps keep up like this.

Onto my card........I was playing with our Serene Silhouettes stamp set for the SCS Ways To Use It Challenge yesterday and this is the CAS card I came up with.

The black DP is from For the Record by Echo Park and I got the gorgeous ribbon at Mark's Finest Papers.

I have to tell you a little funny about that awesome double bow. Have you ever seen the cool doohickey Becca Feeken created to tie her fabulous pegs bows? Well, I am not a very patient person....I didn't have time to go out and buy the items necessary to create this fun tool let alone the time to build it so this is what I did.......

You have my permission to giggle a little.....even laugh out loud if you want to ;).......I bascially just tied two pencils to this "utensil holder" I use for some of my supplies. It may be funny looking, but it works :).....at least until I get the necessary items to build something like Becca's cool invention :).

Thanks for joining me today :).

Inky hugs,

Birthday Princess

I'm having fun with Tildas this week :)....so I have a Tilda birthday card for you today.

I played along with the sketch over at Just Magnolia challenges this week. It was a fun sketch to work with :).

The papers are from Kaisercraft, the Candy Lane Collection. I also broke out my new lace punch I got last week :). How fun!!

Thanks for taking a look at my creation today. :) I hope it made you smile!

Happy Birthday!

Last night I sat and colored a few non-SNSS images and this was one of them.

I really wanted to make something with the images I colored so when I saw today's SCS sketch, I was thrilled because it's perfect for this image.

This particular image is from Sugar Nellie. Isn't she sweet? Her dress sort of reminded me of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, so that is how I colored her although I left out the ruby slippers ;).

I didn't really have much by way of DP to match the image so I made my own. I dry embossed the white with my CB folder and then colored the embossed images with my Copics.

It seems I am always in need of birthday cards, but I never have the right thing, so I am challenging myself to make more birthday cards. The Happy Birthday sentiment I used on this card is from a set we will be releasing in the next couple months. It contains MANY "Happy Birthday" sentiments in different fonts :). It's a very useful set, let me tell you!

Thanks for taking the time to visit me today :).

Have a fabulous day!

Love ya!

Happy Valentine's Day, stamping friends!

In honor of this "love"ly day, I have a sweet valentine for you all. The image is one of our newer digis, You're a Doll, the sentiment is from our Somebuggy Loves You stamp set and the papers are from Basic Grey's Bittersweet pad....I have been hoarding this pad because I love it so much but HAD to break it out for some valentine's this year.

I hope today you are surrounded by those you love!

Oh Happy Day!

I am soooo loving all the fun springy papers we recently got in at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. This paper is from the Little Girl line by Echo Park. It goes perfectly with this sweet image, Thankful Molly.

I added some shimmery paper flowers with pearl centers and some YUMMY ribbon my dear friend Sandy sent me this week to finish of the card.

The sentiment if from a set being released in the coming months.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me such encouraging comments. They always make me smile :).

Inky hugs,

Bless Your Heart

I don't normally do two posts in one day but I used this Sweet Stop sketch in two different ways. This card uses the sketch right-side-up and features a sweet new digi set called You're a Doll. This image was a special request from a friend. She always has such fun ideas. I love when she shares them with me :).

I am not usually one to reach for purple so I challenged my self with this image and used a lot of purple :). I do really like how it turned out :).

The papers are from Basic Grey Wisteria pad...I have used up almost this whole pad :(.....I may need to see if I can gt some more. It's so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy your weekend!

Gardening Cookie & a Sketch

It's Saturday again and you know what that means :).....Sweet Stop Sketch time!

Today I have a fun card to share with you using a newly released digi called Gardening Cookie. I turned the sketch on it's side for this card.....but I will be posting another card shortly using the sketch right-side-up.

Cookie is Cocoa's "sweet 'n sassy" girlfriend and she is totally ready for Spring, just like me :). Don't get me wrong, I like Winter, but I think it's time for it to be over now ;).

I coupled this adorable image with the new Little Girl papers from Echo Park Paper. They are so bright and cheerful, perfect for a Spring card, don't you agree :)?

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget about the SNSS Love is in the Air Blog Hop going on through the weekend. We'd love to have you join us!!

Have a blessed weekend, friends!

Love is in the Air Blog Hop starts today!

I am so excited about today's customer appreciation blog hop :). I hope you'll check back on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog throughout the weekend so you don't miss any of the stops.

For the hop this weekend I am sharing a sweet new digi image we just released today called Bethany Sends Her Love. I have been having a blast drawing this sweet little bunny so you will be seeing lots of her in the near future!

The DP is from K&Company's KP Valentine pad. I saw this paper at Michaels the other day and I just HAD to get it :). I added some Stickles, square rhinestones, ribbon, and a punched border. Then I used the fun curled corners technique up in the top right corner just to finish it off. The sentiment is from the Somebuggy Loves You clear stamp set.

Thanks for hopping by today. Be sure to head back to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog for the full list of participating blogs.

Inky hugs to you!

It's Crazy 4 Cocoa Day!

For today's challenge we want you to paper piece your Cocoa image. I have a confession.....I didn't get around to making a card because I have been super busy with a few other things so I am sharing a card I made last summer. It's been almost 6 months so I thought it would be ok to share it again ;).

If I can, I will make a new card and share it later today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Be a blessing to someone today!

A CAS Creation

I've been a card making machine today but I only have this one to share with you. The rest will have to wait until as least this weekend as I made them for the Paper Crafts Stamp It! Cards publication call. I submitted 6 cards between last night and today.....the most I have ever submitted to any publication at one time. Here's hoping they pick up one of them :)......if not, I'll have lots to share with you next week :).

Back to my card for today....

I made this for the CAS challenge on Splitcoast today which was a color challenge. I have been thoroughly enjoying making CAS cards lately so you may see more of them from me in the near future.

The image is from our newly released New Creature stamp set. You can get it in digi form as well. Isn't that great :)?!

I colored the image with Copics, cut it out and popped it up with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped in Onyx Black Versafine ink and then I added the rows of red pearls for a little extra something.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a blessed rest of the day!

Cookie is Back!

It's Saturday again and that means another fun sketch over at The Sweet Stop.

My card features Cocoa's adorable girlfriend. Her name is Cookie and she is a girlie girl :) as you can see here. The image is called Pamper Me Cookie. The larger DP is from an older K&Company Valentine's Day pack. I can't recall the name but it's full of reds & pinks....perfect for my image. The pink DP is from Echo Park's Be Mine collection.

Just a quick tip on my tag.....I used a Nestie to create the tag, but only used the one end to get the pretty edge on my tag. Don't you love when you can get multiple uses out of your supplies :).

Thanks for stopping by today! May your day be blessed!

Just because you're you!

Praise the Lord for Fridays :)! We are heading to co-op today for the first time in what seems like forever. The kids are excited to see their friends again and I am excited, too :). Moms' hour in the cafe is always a blessing.

Today's card is a light-hearted one featuring the sweet birds from our new One of a Kind set.

I dug through my stash and found this pretty striped paper from K&Co. It's so bright and cheerful...just the ticket for my colorful image :). I sponged the sky around the image using, appropriately, Sky ink from CTMH. The white frame around the red Nestie panel was cut out freehand. It's a pretty simple card really, but with all that color it doesn't seem so.

Thanks for stopping by today. Tomorrow I'll have a new Sweet Stop card to share with you. See you then!

Hugs and blessings,
Korin

2 for 1 & a Blog Hop!

Happy Thursday, friends!!

This week we took two "mental health" days from homeschooling....in other words, we all really needed a break ;).....and for me that means therapy/crafting time. As a homeschooling family we don't do "snow days" so we take "mental health" days instead ;).

One of the things I did with my time off was play along with this week's SCS color challenge. I actually made two cards for the challenge so I am going to just share them both with you today :).

My first card sort of looks like a pearl explosion....not sure why I kept adding to it, but I did, so this card has a serious amount of stuff going on LOL!

I don't have SU! colors so I always have to improvise. I found some papers in my stash from Crate Paper called Prudence and paired them up with some Basic Grey Capella. I think it worked pretty well.

The corners and sentiment panel are die cuts which also came from the Prudence paper pack.

Stamps: Wait on the Lord (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)
Paper: Prudence (Crate Paper), Capella (Basic Grey)
Ink: Versafine
Accessories: Fancy Tags Die, flowers, LOTS of pearls, Stickles, ribbon

My second card not only features the color combo but I also used the CPC sketch for this week, too.

The "scenery" on this card was inspired by this card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=17703 made by Dina Kowal, although she did a much better job with it. What talent!

I paper pieced the dress and the umbrella.....no easy task, but the end result was quite nice.

Stamps: Let it Rain (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)
Paper: Prudence (Crate Paper), Capella (Basic Grey)
Ink: Copics, Memento, Versafine & Sky (CTMH) for sponging
Accessories: pearls, ribbon, border punch, Crystal Lacquer, Nesties

On a completely different note I did want to share something exciting with you :).....

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is hosting our very first CUSTOMER blog hop next weekend and we would LOVE to have YOU participate in the line up!

Click the badge above to get the full scoop. Why not even grab the badge and stick it on your blog, too :). Let's spread the love for SNSS :)!

Thanks for stopping by today!

May your day be richly blessed!

Spot loves you....

....just because you're you! And so do I :).

I made this card for the SCS sketch challenge today. What a fast and FUN sketch! This card took me less than 20 minutes....mind you the image was already colored, but still :). The longest part was figuring out where to put the sentiment.

The image is one of SNSS' fabulous digis, Spot, and you can even get it pre-colored to look just like this one :). Now that makes for a fast card! The sentiment is from our new One of a Kind stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you are safe and warm today! That storm is a doozy!!

New at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

This is my second post for today.....lots going on :)...if you are looking for my Crazy 4 Cocoa challenge post scroll down a bit :)......

Today is release day at SNSS!!! We have 5 awesome new stamp sets PLUS 5 new Echo Park 6x6 samplers!!

My card today features our new He Lives set. It's a wonderful set which can be used for Easter and most any occasion to share Christ with others. I think the DP is from Basic Grey, but I honestly cannot recall which pad at the moment....when I figure it out, I will update. Sorry about that!! My work space is a bit of a creative disaster right now and needs some serious tidying ;).

Thanks so much for putting up with me twice today!! ;)

Have a fabulous day and if you are in the path of the crazy winter storm we are getting....stay SAFE and warm!!!

Sweet Christmas Wishes

Yes, I know, Christmas is behind us but today's Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge is to use your favorite Cocoa image and well, this one, Sweet Cocoa as a digi or Cup of Cocoa as a clear stamp, is mine :). Wanna know why? Well, I am going to tell you ;).....it's my favorite because it's the very FIRST Cocoa image I drew :).

The pretty swirly paper is from SEI...I think the Holly Lane Collection. I always enjoy doing the out of the box technique with Cocoa's images....such a fun technique :).

Thanks for popping over today. I hope you'll grab your favorite Cocoa and play along with us this week!
