A tough week.....but I'm still here.

What a crazy week it's been...too many things going on to mention them all but I do want to share a little bit about today with you.......

Earlier today we attended a funeral for a man from our church who passed away Sunday night. He was 84 years old and he lost a tough battle with cancer. The service was a great celebration of his life and a tremendous blessing to my soul. You see, this man fought God for many years....he watched many of his family members, including his wife and children, accept Christ one by one but he just wasn't ready to make a decision himself....that is until May of 2009 at the age of 82. God finally got a hold of his heart and he accepted the precious gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!!! So today, my friends, wasn't a day of mourning but a day of celebration! Sonny is now in the presence of His Savior....his pain and suffering are gone.....he'll never shed another tear and he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. AMEN and AMEN!

He is survived by is dear wife Millie, their 6 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and I trust that each of them in attendance today were greatly touched by the testimonies shared of his salvation and the change it brought in his life. I trust they are rejoicing in his home-going and many look forward to the day when they will see him again in glory. What a glorious reunion it will be!

We never know when our last breath on this earth will be taken....but we can know that when that last breath is taken our next moment will be in Heaven. If you are not 100% sure that if you took your final breath on this earth your next moment would be spent in Heaven, I invite you to trust Christ right now. He's waiting for you. He wants you to come to Him. He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Each of us has an appointment with death.....it's the punishment for our sin, but for those who know Christ as their personal savior, death is only the glorious beginning! Won't you trust Christ today? Believe in your heart that He died for YOUR sins and that He was raised from the dead on the third day, conquering death and sin for YOU! All you have to do is tell Him. Pour your heart out to Him. Thank Him for who He is and what He did for YOU and ask Him to save YOU! Make the choice that Sonny made and find peace.....peace that passes all understanding.

Praise the Lord for His unspeakable gift....the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Thankful for this brother's salvation and eternal destination. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow so it is of utmost importance to receive Christ's precious gift of salvation now before it's too late. I rejoice with the family that he is in the loving hands of his Savior.

This is such a super sweet card! I love the soft colors and how feminine it is all wrapped in one. You did an amazing job on this image.

Sorry for your friend, Millie's, loss. Praise the Lord for his salvation but I know he will be greatly missed by his wife.

Korin, a beautiful card and an even more beautiful story. Thank goodness age does not matter and God is waiting and willing to accept us as we are! PTL that he made peace with and asked the Lord to be Lord of his life.
